From my experience:

·  Comfortable.  I haven’t met anyone who didn't like the PG1's. At the tradeshow, someone would tap their buddy's shoulder and say, "You have to try these on....."

·  Light.  The PG1’s are generally lighter than comparably priced gloves. ($90 retail). Lower priced gloves tend to use heavier materials, whereas higher priced gloves use similar materials but add more plastics as slash guards. Although that increases the safety of their gloves for highly competitive players, it also increases the weight and cost of those gloves.

·  Roomy.  I can’t claim I’ve noticed any difference from my previous pair of gloves, but many players have said they seem roomier than other brands.

·  Grippy.  The palms have a polka dot pattern of rubber 'Salming' throughout the bottom two thirds of the palm. This added grip will help keep your hands in position while shooting/passing, as well as extend the life of the palms, since the rubber has to wear away before the material can erode.

·  Durable.  I’ve had my PG1’s for fifteen months and have worn them an average of almost three times per week. They've held up quite well during that time. The inner padding is a bit less plush. The inside of the fingers show discoloration from tape and have worn about 10%, but I don’t see any signs of imminent holes or frayed seams. The rubber in the palm is almost fully worn away, but the Nash reinforcement is in great shape.

·  Ergonomic.  Brand new, the PG1’s fit perfectly around a stick. They also open wider than the 0405 model, although the 0405 model ultimately breaks in to be just as limber.

·  ClarinoTM.  ClarinoTM is a synthetic leather that doesn’t dry out like true leather, so I’ve never had the crinkly feeling that other gloves have.

·  Anti-Bacterial.  The PG1’s have anti-bacterial lining, which helps prevent irritation with some skin conditions.

·  Cool.  The mesh gussets have a tighter weave than the 0405 models, still allowing great air flow to keep your hands from sweating too much, yet not quite as cold on a pond for a game of skinny.

Size:

These gloves are available in 12", 13", 14" and 15". As I mentioned, some people have told me they think the gloves are roomier than other brands, although I didn't notice that myself.
